Oh boy! been a long long time since I've been in a ranger Forum. If you were around in the late 90's many of you will remember me and my KunzKorner site on fordranger.com. Been a long time since then, and my 87 is long gone, albeit I still see it now and again (last seen 2 years ago). Have many fond memories of that machine, I do miss her. Moved on to old vettes after selling the 87. First got a 73 454 4spd coupe, then a 69 468 nom 4spd vert, and they have been the toys since my ranger. Looking to get another ranger here real soon for my wife, which is the reason I stopped by and decided to say hi.

Not sure why, but the name sounds familiar. I think I've heard it somewhere before..

Anyway, welcome back (soon to be back anyways) to the Ranger game! Any ideas on what your looking for?

Currently looking for an 01-06 4x4 extended cab w/4.0L and limited slip rear. I have an 01 on the radar with the offroad package and 4.10 LS rear. It's a nice looking truck in bright white. Test drove it today and it had an issue on right turns with the left front axle sounding like it was clicking. Told the salesman to get that fixed and I'll take it for another drive. Only had 72k miles on it.

Long Time no speak (or type) Where ya been?

Allan D,

Boy your a name from way back:D, yea it ended up being a bad axle, they replaced it before I told them I would buy it. So I ended up buying that 01. Actually bought it for my wife.

Where have I been? Well been in the corvette world for quite a while now. I found the joys of placing big Rat engines into fiberglass cars. Got two of them now so they take a lot of my spare time and unfortunately money. At least my Wife supports my hobby and actually enjoys driving the 73 big block, the 69 on the other hand is a bit more finicky so it's considered mine.

Good to see you are still around and kicking

Well, I PM'd Pat Kunz to see if he was who he said he was. He is (We met in person many years ago). I can't believe after so many years Pat Kunz is posting in a Ranger forum. As I told him, it's like finding out Elvis is still alive.

Welcome back Pat!

I love big block Vettes. I worked for a vette restoration shop for a little while and fell in love with an original '66 425hp coupe we were restoring. I can totally understand falling out of the Ranger world for that, lol.

Well I wouldn't put me up there with finding Elvis. Jimmy Hoffa maybe lol. I'll see if I can't help out around here from time to time. Zman, a 66 425hp coupe, black with factory sidepipes is kinda my dream vette, I consider them one of the most sinister looking vettes of all time. Let me see If I can't post a pic of my 69 vert in this post (yea I know this is a ranger forum but please indulge me). I took three hard years and a lot of cash putting this one together but I think it was worth it. I have very fond memories of my old 87 ranger it was one of the great sleepers of all time, I hope it's found a good home somewhere.

Pat, I'm with you on the '63-67 Vetts, styling wise. I sure that seeing you like Vettes that you have made the trip up to the Bloomington Gold Show. Got one of their calenders and they had some really rare beautys in there.
Welcome back!
Dave
