black projector lights

I got mine a few years ago, the turn signals are really hard to see ever, night or day unless you upgraded to L.E.D. bulbs. Also I couldn't get my projectors wired up, I tried with relay and all and the bulb wiring attached to the bulb started to melt. Also the lens on the headlight has started to get bad, its got a scale type crap over the plastic lens and it doens't come off at all. But for the price and the look and they have lasted probably 4 years or so not to bad. I am looking for a similar set just more $$$ and higher quality.
I think I paid $75 or so also for mine

i got some on mine, but with an HID conversion. im also running LEDs in the projectors, but they are pretty much only visible at night if i have my parking lights on (i have the projectors spliced into the parking lights). IMHO theyr pretty good, had to modify my core support to fit them though.

I'm going to do a similar set up to these guys except on the turn signal housing, I'm going to use a clear one and paint it black except for the bulb reflector part which I will leave clear. Or I just might get the headlight and just Niteshade my amber corner lamp. Or do a HID projector retrofit into a diamond cut housing and paint that black and use a clear corner lamp or Niteshaded amber corner lamp. Still haven't decided yet.

you have any better pics? pics of the back of the light? im still doubtful...

Those lights are a combination of diamond cut and halogen projector.

well then i guess i was wrong. i want to see pics now more than ever though, i'm curious.

the projector is actually a separate sealed piece from the rest of the housing, it has three screws that hold it on and adjust it. it just has 2 wires coming from it. i'm pretty sure that they are a projector beam but have no idea how effective as i havn't ever taken the time to wire them. I believe they use a H3 bulb or something on that line I don't recall its been awhile

It is H3, mine only has two screws

they are a projector but the projector part has to be wired up like a driving light. they arent too bad for what they are. my 94 has had the chrome ones for about 3 years now and they still look good. the corners suck. i had the clear lense fly off the corner one day on my way home from work

thanks for all the pics and info. i dont know now if i wanna go ahead and get them or just buy stocks and put h.i.ds in them, i mean i like the look but im not sure i want the hassle
