Black first gen dash

Was wondering if anybody has painted their first gen dash black but kept the interior red. If so can I see a picture?

I saw a ranger once with black dash, seat covers, and floor mats with the rest red, it looked better than all red.

I like the red interior but I like to put my own kindof touch with it. I have an extended cab and I coverd the rear speaker covers , jumper seats, and kick panels with mossy oak fabric and used some spray adhesive. I'd like to paint the dash matte black and all the plastic trim in the cab. But leave the door panels,seats, and carpet red. I would just like to see another truck with the black dash before I paint it and end up not liking it and having to put a hole new dash in

i agree i dont mind the red interior. i just like making my vehicles unique

The black dash will look great. Nothing wrong with red interior. I had one of my BII's and my 83 Ranger with red interiors and it looked great. I am changing my tan door armrest to black soon. The door panel is black and tan so the armrest will look great black.
