BL and 33's?

I have a 2007 FX4 and am in the process of ordering a 3" body lift, 15x8 rims with 3.75 backspacing, and 33x12.50r15 tires. I want to install these and keep my bumper valance. This is all strictly for appearance. Will this work without removing the bumper valance? I have heard many different things. I have heard that it will work. I have also heard i need to do a prekey mod and shackles. Input? Once I start the install, I want to do it all in one shot and get it done. I dont want to lift it then have to wait for more parts to ship.

it should work. if anything you will just have to adjust your torsion bars a bit

they will definately fit w/o rubbing. like Ravo said, you may have to crank the t-bars just a slight bit, but other than that you'll be fine!

I think he may need the pre key mod as well being an 07' they sit about 2" lower then a stock 04'

I have been looking across the internet, and all the forums that I am seeing say that the prekey mod is for 2008+. These other forums state that the change occurred between 2007 and 2008. I have been hearing both ways and am unsure of which to believe.

I had heard it was changed in 06' or that was the year they started switching.
