im looking for some cheap tricks to get a few more horses out of my 160,000 mile 4.0, any and all tricks will be considered... depending on price of course

not on the cheap ....... the 4.0L IS the upgrade. the upgrade from a 4.0L is usually to a V8 or a twin turbo or a super charger. Just clean the hell out of everything and tune it up.

you could port and polish the hell out of the heads and intake, polish the hell out of the crank, balance the whole rotating assembly and still would not break 190 hp.
