What makes for a better ride? I have Skyjacker leaf springs and they ride like hell it seems, maybe its the crappy Rancho shocks?

Bilstein 5125 valving:
298/36
270/50
255/70
170/60 (may not even be available in length I need).

I'll be ordering shocks here soon enough, tell me what you think. Want to stay with the single shock setup, no duals. I haven't measured yet but I need a *longer* shock than what is in there now, a Rancho that is approx 16" collapsed and 26" expanded is what I currently have.

The 255/70 is what you'd want for single shocks on the rear (general street/trail use). A dual setup would often make use of the 170/60 shocks.
