Bilstein shocks?

After spending some time browsing the forums here, I've decided to purchase bilstein shocks to upgrade my current shocks. I have a 1987 ford ranger xlt 4x4 that I'm trying to upgrade to make it ready for some occasional weekend offroading.

Could someone suggest what shocks I should buy to replace the front and rear shocks on my truck that has the stock lift from the factory.

I tried finding some on my own, but I was told the Xlt models are lifted higher than the regular rangers and that lift requires a specific shock ...

My ranger has a 6" lift

I just bought mine on amazon for the front. I have a 6" lift. The part number for the front is 24-185684 They are great. I need the number for the rear. Haven't found it yet. Tried writing the company. No help. I tried skyjacker too. They are made in Mexico crap. Don't even consider them.

The 4WD STX model can be higher but the 4WD XLT is not higher than any other Ranger 4WD unless it has the High Rider option.

I had an 89 STX which had the equivalent of the High Rider. I could not find Bilstein shocks that fit it. In fact, I had a difficult time finding any shocks to fit it. I finally found a brand called Heckethorn that had shocks for both the standard 4WD Ranger and the High Rider Ranger. They were decent shocks and worked well off-road. They were good for close to 100K miles.
