I cant find or track down the right shock i want to run bilsteins but was told to run em for a 6" lift. all i can find is 4 and 5 inch lifts. could someone point me in the right direction? Provide a product number even. Thanks!

Measure yours compressed and extended then look at the bilstien length chart and order them up. I am running 63s in the rear with 7" diy4x shackles and the stock block. You can see what model I went with in my build thread.

what good will that do measuring my current shocks? im going to be lifting the rig higher with chevy 63s and want to run bilsteins. Ill take a look at your build thread i guess

He means to measure the distance between mounting points WITHOUT shocks, with the new springs, extended and compressed distances. It's a little work as you have to remove your shocks to get a true measurement, but if your changing springs anyway.... Don't forget to add a bit to the extended length as the axle will droop more when active.

Yes, don't buy shocks first. Do all the mods first, then go out to a ditch or a loading dock without shocks when everything else is done and measure compressed and extended lengths with no shocks, then order shocks based on what you require for length. Bilstien has a chart for its generically valved line. If you want a shock valved specifically for your ranger, after you get the lengths, call them and see if one for their lifted Rangers will work.
