I ordered a set of Bilstein 5125's and I got 170/60 shock valving instead of 255/70 for the rear. Is there that much of a difference between the two? Should I return them and get 255/70 or will 170/60 do me fine? From the research I did 170/ 60 should be fine for a smaller truck but I don't wanna end up with a sagging rear end. any help is much appreciated.

It won't sag.

It may just ride alot softer with more sway. I dont have any personally experience with the softer valving but I have the 255/70 valved 5125's on my rear axle and sometimes they seem to ride pretty harsh over certain types of terrain. If I were you I'd put them on and see how they ride....and if you don't like em sell em on craigslist and get another set valved firmer.

I too have also read that the softer valving works fine on our light pickups.
