And yea why not hit it with some spray paint? Seems like it should work...

That is actually what I was going to recommend. Buy which ever is cheapest and hit it with the same paint you use on the other chrome, that way they all match.
what paint would you recommend for being the best to use on this , i know i am using Rustoleum Hammered for the plastic parts , i used it on my backrack and diff cover for the other truck , and it gives the stuff like a crinkle finish , but i do not know if it would work on the grille
