im thinking about buying a billet grille for my 94 and i was wondering if anyone nows how hard they are to install and would mud getting on it screw up the finish

They install in like 10 minutes or less and they wear just like a normal piece of the vehicle. You may need zip ties in certain spots if you have a bangin system though.....lol

alright thanks ill be sure to remember that

Check out the artical in the tech library if your really short on cash.
I only spent 6 bucks :yahoo:
Doesnt look as nice as a real one, but its still nice.

I did mine yesterday like the little article in the tech section said. I think I paid $2.58 for the silver mesh and I used some screws I had, plus the cost of about 8 zip-ties. Oh, and I cleaned, sanded, and painted the grille black. I think it looks super-sweet, especially considering it literally cost lest than $3.00 to do.

I'm working on the same thing... but how do you access the hood release through the mesh... Thats the problem I'm looking at with my 87.

There no trouble to install, dont it on my friends rig
