BII Rocks and 44's. LOTS of pictures.

Scooter, you got any updates? You get the driveshafts and steering done yet?

Check out the photo and video forum. I think you'll find your answer there.

Well,,,,,, its been a longgggg time since i updated on here so here we go!!!
I finally saved up enough $$ for a Sumner machine 203/205 doubler. Way worth the money. 4:1 is about perfect with the 44's.

looks good brother

Well i got a smokin deal on 4 44" boggers and beadlock wheels so i snagged em up.
Put my old tsl's/boggers for trade for a steering rockwell.
After a couple weeks i got a call from a guy that had a steer rock but it was missing a few parts. After some haggaling i got him to toss in a hyd power pack (12V bail spike pump)!!!!
I made some calls to fellow local wheelers and rounded up all the missing parts for $0.00!!!! All those late nights helping friends and trail fixes paid off!!!

Also during one of my trips to Clayto Oklahoma (green acres) i broke a rear rotor!!! So i have since wanted to move the pinon brake to the driveshaft side of the axle.
While i was swapping out straight for steer i decided to redo trak bar and put the pinon brake in fron of my axle.

Mohawk the bottom of the rockwell.

I reallllllllly didnt want a single pos ram, but funding dictated that over a double ended.
Overall i am happy the way it turned out.

I am in Woodward, 90 miles straight west of Enid.
Where the hell is K trail?
Got a buddy that lived/wheeled in Stillwater for years. Pat Best, worked at the Toyota dealership there. Had a black 4 Runner on 36"s i think.
Load up and come our way, we have a gyp rock quary over near the intersection of 281 and 412 (ghost town of cederdale).

K trail is 90 miles of unmaintained county road from Clayton to Mena Ark.

I may have to head out your way. Getting ready to swap in a D35 to my dd B2.

Then Im starting my trail B2. Got the engine tranny and tcase. Just got some Jeep Cherokee axles to start my SAS. would like a d44, but havent found one for the right price yet.

did you ever wheel with Dan?

The owner of this...

90 miles!!!!! Wholy crap!!! Id need 5 tanks of fuel! (and lots o brew)
Yea my turn isnt built for sustained speeds above 10mph. Square tubing driveshafts, 44" bias ply tires ect ect. Thanks for the invite tho.

did you ever wheel with Dan?
Negative. I would remember that!!! Nice Explorer.

ok, he wheeled with a lot of people in OK. That pic was from Clayton. Needless to say, he doesn't own it anymore.... And it doesn't quite look like that anymore....
