Biggest Ranger In Jersey???

KNIGHT STALKERS???

someone hit the lottery:headbang::headbang::headbang:

As far as running the intake into the truck. I wouldn't. My buddy has a fullsize bronco on 40"s with a stock 460. He ran the intake into the blower motor hole and put a BIG paper filter on it. When you rode in the truck with the windows up your ears would hurt, not only from the intake noise but from the pressure drop/suction of the intake. It was pretty cool to stand outside the truck and hear the sucking noises when the windows were rolled down a little. I would just build some nice inner fenders and call it a day.

thanks for the pic i was gonna do that! I didnt think the would pull that much especially in such a large cab with so many places for air to get in (bronco back doors are like swiss cheese) my cab is alot smaller so the ploblem would be even more preveilant. I guess its back to the drawing board for the intake

No way you'd suck that much air.......... I just don't believe it, I think the highness of pitch is what was reallyh making the ears hurt.

I've seen twins run on a 6bt, and you can put your hand in front of (not flush that would be a bad idea) but there is no wind tunnel effect.

Keep the intake out under the hood, or at least out of the passenger compartment.

The turbo whistle on my CTD is enough to drive you nuts when I wind it up on the interstate for a few hours. I can only imagine if it were routed into the glove box. :shok:

hey i havent kept up with this build, but is that truck gonna be street legal?

gonna be trailored to the pits, and shows and home :headbang:

But I think he mentioned driving it very short distances.

I don't think it will be legal in heighth or width at all.

But still such an awesome truck...
I can't wait for the updates!!!

Been in virginia on vacation but resuming work on the beast tomorrow getting the accessories on the motor

na once I get her on the road it will be safe to assume the worst and keep your eyes open for it on an episode of cops lol

hey frank gotta hand it to ya just realized you have a GM avatar on a ford website no wonder you keep up on this build

thanks Ill have more tomorrow unfortunatly I didnt have the accessories on when I mocked in the motor (If you know LT1s there acc. are really low and towards the passenger side so the A/C blank pulley actually hits the frame amature mistake!) so I will have to notch and box the frame where the pulley is in the way. Im used to the older sbc's that didnt have the sepentine belts so I over looked this shi! happens
