Biggest Ranger In Jersey???

i love your truck but have a question regarding the twin turbo's, if you get into deep water/mud wouldnt the turbo's sick in the water/mud ???

where fabbing up a sheetmetal under carrige to stop the mud and waterfrom getting slung up in the engine compartment but at 8ft to the oil pan and 9 to 9 1/2ft to the turbos If i get water that high cracking the turbo housing will probably be the least of my worries

the intake is going to be routed into the cab

You like jets? lol

Lot of diesel guys routed intakes into the gloveboxes, pop her open when you need the air, let it breath under the dash the rest of the time, these set-ups are stupid, stupid loud!!!
but effective.

Frank

thats exactly what im doing the filter will be right behind the glovebox but under the dash has been gutted of everything-ductwork, non essential electronics heater-a/c box EVERYTHING so theres plenty of room back there. Im hoping not to be able to hear the intake over the obnoxious exhaust

You won't at W.O.T but at spool-down, it will be vicious..... invest in ear-plugs, or you will be hard of hearing long before your time.

and if you deaden it for sound you will restrict the airflow.

Frank

Awesome, I have an LT1 that needs rebuilding to throw in my other truck. It's getting a carb though. I'm lovin' the build so far, sweet truck!

Thanks guys its coming along slow Im going to be caught up on the fabrication soon and held up by the $$$ for shocks and a few other things

What kind of shocks are you going to use on that beast?

hey man that is the biggest goddamn ranger ive ever seen although i would love to see a ford motor in it that lt1 is going to be badass!!!!:icon_thumby::icon_thumby:
