biggest dash speaker 1st gen

whats the biggest speaker you can put in the dash of a 1st gen without hacking the grille covers?


need to upgrade the ranger, but wanna step up from my blaupunkt 4" in the dash to either alpine or boston acoustic 4" or 5 1/4

then upgrade my street edge 6x9's in the doors to some alpine or bostons.

upgrade my pioneer deck to a newer one.

maybe an amp, not sure yet. gotta see what the budget allows.

i just cut the doors and cut the panels to fit.

eventually i just made my own panels out of 1/8 panel board and wrapped in vinyl

but here they are

the biggest you can fit is 5 1/4 i have them in mine and they are a super tight fit.

Cool looks good thanks. I have the same Grant wheel as you but the all black one, see you made your own seat mounts too.
