Hey guys, I am looking at buying my first truck. I plan on getting a ford ranger. I am just wondering if i run 32 inc tires should i get diffrent ball joint? Or do the ball joints wear out alot on you guys with big tires?? let me know. thanks

Rangers (at least pre-'98 models) aren't known for balljoint problems, though depending on what year you're looking at, you may want to upgrade to the later frontend which would give you much bigger axle shafts and differential.

What year truck are you considering?

I am looking at a 1995 ford ranger v.6 4.0 leater. Think it would have any problems turning them big tires?

I'd worry more about spacing than wearing parts out, especially since 32's aren't overly big relatively speaking. If the truck isn't already lifted (either by factory or previous owner), you'll need to add a few inches which isn't crazy expensive.

Just as a reference, my 99 Ranger has the factory off-road package and I could comfortably fit 33's.

'95 will fit 32s stock (though just barely).

As long as the truck doesn't have the dreaded 3.27 axle ratio, you should be fine (you can always do a gear swap too, ideal would be 4.10 or 4.56 with those tires, though swapping gears is not cheap).
