I was just curious if anyone here has a big sound system. Although I don't, I used to have a nice little system waaaay back in my car and always liked nice clean/loud systems. I realize big systems can be a little more challenging in a truck.

Post some photos and a descriptions of what you have. I'd really like to see them. :icon_thumby:

You guys are giving me ideas for when I get home. I have a memphis 2000w amp and a soundsplinter RL -i10 sub, a memphis 450w amp and alpine component set for the front, and an alpine iDA-X100 head unit. I plan on getting a batcap for it since I will probably step up and get a 3rd amp and run components in the rear later as well. So far all I have planned out is a .45cf box tuned to 27hz for the sub and qlogic kick panel mounts for the front components.

i had two of these, mtx 8000s rated to 1000watts each. along with a kenwood deck and big amp.

oooo this thread lol, ill try and get pics i dont have any at this point but heres the run down

Hu, 4inch wide screen dvd player single din

dynomatted doors, with fitted 6x9 alpines type R all around ,

2 ga wire to quad distrubition block.

running two alpine amps the m450 for the highs and the m650 for the bass, all covered with a nice 3/4 mdf amp rack with black grills so you can see each amp.

replaced the seats with a 3/4 mdf "bench", covered in close cell foam so you can sit on it if you want then wraped in blue fleace, (my three yo niece was dead set on blue, so i made her happy) will be camo when im done.

on the bench are two kicker 12'' each in custom tuned boxes :icon_hornsup:

i was told i was going to get in hot water if i spend over $2000 im at $2300 sshhhhhhh

spendy system, i wanna see some pics of the bench. did you get everything retail? im at Just over 1200 bucks but everything i bought was direct from the manufacturer, except the head unit which came from craigslist. i will never pay high retail prices for run of the mill gear from best buy etc..
