I have a 2003 ranger 4x4 4.0. My MPG has dropped from about 17 down to 12 in the past year. I have not done anything to it in the past year to make it drop. What are some others with 4.0 doing to improve their MPG? My truck is stock with a 31" tires..:dntknw:

Thanks in advanced.

You're asking the ENTIRELY wrong question.

You most certainly did do something to lower the mileage. You DROVE it. And it broke. The question is, what's wrong?

You will probably need professional help to nail it down.

Yo,
A tune-up is always a good place to start. However, unless something is wrong with the truck, it will be difficult to tell where the mileage is going.
