Ok went down to the local autozone and bought the haynes manual and it sucks. I have a leak right under the driverside wheel well from a couple of hoses in which I am not sure what it is. Just bought this bad boy and it runs great so far but just noticed a few drops and can not for the life of me figure out if it is oil, break fluid or tranny fluid. Will have to look at it tomorrow with some better light.

Any suggestions?

thanks.

Ford factory manual. I forget who publishes them, but your local dealer can tell you.
They are expensive, at about $120-$150, but they have EVERYTHING about your year in them, including troubleshooting.

Look UP higher.

Lay your butt down under there with a flashlight and look up as high as you can to find the highest wet spot there is where the leak is.
If the liquid is red it isn't motor oil.. Should be easy to tell where it is coming from with the light.

You don't need a manual to trace hose leaks, and some pics would help us help you.

I just bought a taurus and was tired of books with nothing I need in them.So I googled and found a factory set to my door for $60 used.If lights iffy dab it with white paper to check color. My vote power is steering.

Yea took a look at it this morning... it is leaking from the drain plug from what I see. Also it is wet where a few hoses go into what I think is the oil pump. Sucks as they used a clamp instead of worm clamp... go figure.

Thanks guys... will post pics soon.
