stackz, I was rubbing the inner wheel well with both beams and coils. The Rangers don't have a lot of room in the front for suspension compression. With only the 2" coils I was able to fit 225/60/15 on 15x8 rims with -11mm offset. I had no rubbing. I could probably find a pic for you if you would like me to send you one. Shoot me your e-mail and I'll see if I can find that setup.
When I installed the limited slip rear in my truck, it made such a difference. The rear has 4.10's in it and I am running a 28" tall tire. Its a blast to drive, good bit of shifting, but the truck is always in its power band. My MPG also went up several points, I was running 3.45 with the same tires. It's nice being able to use 5th gear LOL. My 95 in an open 3.45 and it blows, I need to fins another deal on a rear end for it.
Hazmat, don't count this as 100% but I believe there is something your can do by changing the bolt on the caliper. You can put a longer one on, or something like that, that will hit the beam if you turn too far. I hate to say it, but you might want to check over at RPS, they seem to be more street oriented.
The chassi tech beams aren't adjustable, if you decide you want more turning radius you just take a grinder to the stop on the beam. It only took me a week or so to get use to it. I didn't even remember how much I lost til I got my 95. Its not terrible by any means, just different.
