Hey I got an 87 ranger sitting on a Dana 35 that needs an alignment bad. (Negative camber)
I'm looking for locals that can suggest me a reputable shop that won't charge me 160 bucks or more.

Any help would be appreciated.

Neighbor is the regional manager for Brakes plus. his "go to guy" for special needs alignments is the Grant/120th store in Thornton. I'll be there Saturday AM for a comprehensive alignment on my ranger/D35

Hey thanks! I did not see your reply because my phone app won't alert me. I'm actually up near Carbondale right now for work but will be going down in a few weeks and hope to start getting this truck in good shape. What did he end up charging you? Are you running adjustable camber bushings?

Btw very impressed with the turbo ranger. She's a looker too!!

$60 bucks- in an out in an hour. While they struggled to get it to spec where I wanted it, they let me back in the shop with them to discuss how to get my dual adjustment camber bushings set up right. I only have a 2" lift, but have a drop pitman and a D35 front so my geometry is a little goofy. Under hard braking, with the drop pitman I actually get increased toe in so I wanted the static toe set at dead straight.

the turbo ranger scares me a little and getting it stopped in a straight line is a big priority.

I am suprised it was so cheap for you!

I am running a four inch lift. The dropped pitman arm helps but it still seems to stretch the ball joints on the one side if you know what I mean. I was half tempted to just mess around with it to get rid of the camber then get a real alingment done when I get some new rubber for her. Whats your go to tire place locally? Im pretty new to the area.

My frame is also slightly shifted to the right from the PO ramming something with the steel bumber. so my coils measure about 3/4 inch different from the fender out on both sides. So watching them get it to spec shall be fun! haha I just want to get rid of the camber mostly so i dont roast another set of tires.

Thanks for the help!!

Depending on the geometry of your lift, and which pitman you have (when we had the bronco II in my profile it was the 6" drop pitman, not the 4") you will be able to get pretty close with adjustable camber bushings. DO you have drop radius brackets or TTB pivot brackets? If not getting to neutral camber with any amount of caster is almost impossible.

Tires I shop most of the main guys in town, Discount, Goodyear, etc. and beat them down to the price I want. I have 5 cars, 6 motorcycles and a toy hauler so I buy a fair amount of tires.

I am pretty sure it's ge ttb pivot brackets.
