I think the best sounding muffler is a chambered muffler, like the Blowmaster 40.
Thrush makes a muffler that is identical to the 40, and can be bought from Summitracing.com for 30$.

If your going for loud then I would get the flowmaster. Personally I am running a delta flow on my 84 ranger and it sounds good. But for my DD I have a Dynomax super turbo.

I've always had Flowmaster super 40s on all my vehicles, I think Im going to stick with what I know. I thought about getting the super 44 for the ground clearance, but I have not found any good sound clips.
