best 5sp transmission to use for 5.0 swap in 4x4 ranger?


The ones that mount it to the engine block.

The 302 is standard, they switched to a slightly smaller metric bolt for the 4.2.
 
If you get the one from a 4.2, you need to drill the holes out to 7/16"
 
Ok thanks for the heads up. what about the driveshafts off the 4.2? and do I use a starter and clutch for the 4.2 or 5.0?
