Make sure the belt is the correct one, and make double sure you have it on the engine correctly. Sometimes the extra idler pulley can throw you on installation. A new belt should not squeal. They will occasionally make an occasional small squeek at times as the new material rubs across the pulleys, but this is normal. It will not be a loud continual squeal.
