Belltech Shackle

Can the belltech 6400 shackle replace the factory lift block on a 93 ranger without any change in ride height? I have factory blocks and rough country blocks stacked right now and would like to get ride of at least on set before i start wheeling in spring. Sorry if this is a dumb question but I don't have the ranger in front of me to measure the factory block height. I'm only allowed to wrench on weekends for a short while due to work and id like to have the have the shackles there this weekend, not have to wait until next weekend to do the work. Thanks.

I would think so. The belltechs are about 3" longer than the stock shackles.

It should be the same on the Gen 3's but on my 99, I removed the stock block and put in the belltechs and it was between and 1 inch and half an inch lower than before with just the block. You could remove the stock block, add the belltechs and an aal and the you should be where you were before.

A standard length (long) AAL will give you around 2 inches of lift

i didn't want to stick any money into the spring pack as i'm planning to swap in 64" springs this next winter. I will have time to measure the block this weekend and decide what I plan on doing.

I would look into ORD's Zero Rate add a leaf. It's basically a 1" thick bolt on leaf. Coupled with the belltech shackle, it SHOULD put you back to stock height.
