Befudled by Brakes ???

Ok, here is the situation. Last week, im doing some errands around town and i notice the brakes start to go go to the floor slowly, as im on my way back home, i find that im losing brake fluid. Friom what I can see, it leaking from the dirvers side. No lines broke that I can see. I put some brake fluid in, started it up and let it run. I pumped the brakes and now no leak.

Being cautious, i havent been driving for saftey sake and finances, So I go out today just to start it and see if anything has changed. The pedal feels a bit stiffer. So I start it up and take it around the neighboorhood, up and down hills, starting and hard stopping and stopping on a downslope and holding the brake down.

Still not leaking !! ?? im wondering what the hell is going on. Anyone have any ideas on what may be going on here ?

Did you check the back of the wheels? Sometimes a leak will get spun around on them and won't show up on the ground.

If fluid was leaking before you defently do have a leak some where, but haveing a hard brake pedal now is very strange the only thing i can think of is possably your caliper boot has a tear and is leaking some fluid? Hope you figure it out man!

Don't know if your year has a rabs valve, but if it does I would check for fluid around it.
