I've lurked on and off for a couple of years now, but I might as well introduce myself.
I have a 1995 Ranger XLT 3.0 auto that was a hand-me-down. Thanks to this site I fixed the rotted fuel filler tube myself, and the truck runs great for 168K miles. I added some 15x7 circle-track steelies and slightly bigger tires....then wanted bigger, of course.
What I'm wondering now is:
What are the pros and cons of the model I have?
What are the must-have, but not ridiculously expensive upgrades for increasing the power, comfort, and handling of the 95 Ranger? Being a Honda guy, I'm pretty familiar with the concept of going to the junk yard and coming home with cheap upgrades.
Also, are there some good seats I could swap in? something with a better center console? Or should I just rip out the stock console/armrest and put in and aftermarket cubby of some kind?
Finally, call me vain, but I'd like some fender flares on this thing. Black plastic is fine... is there a good maker for these sort of things?
