ok, little update. I took the gay ass bolt on cowl thing off the hood. Now i just have a bunch of holes in the hood. flexed the truck out, was VERY happy with how the rear did, the front would hardly move. so now im on the quest for TTB flex, im going to build a set of extended Radius arms a some point this summer i hope and go from there. looking into either EB springs or skyjacker RBV springs. Took the sway bar off the front and the truck seemed to handle good on the road so it will stay off.

other than that ive been driving it to work and it has been running pretty good and driving better with every thing i do to it, so im pretty happy with how its working for a 25 year old truck.

i would say 5.0, but my answer is 4.0 usually b/c its so much easier and is a huge step up from a 2.9

But i work at an engine shop so i could build a badass 302 or better yet a 347 for pretty cheap, but i think your right.....axles first. BTW i checked today, i got 15 MPG rollin on 33s with 4.10s. So i was happy with that, considering i literally hold it WFO on my way to work for almost 10 miles to keep up with traffic on the highway. but it only goes 75ish wide open anyways.

i installed a set of sylvania Silverstar headlights in her tonight. They are 10 times better than the old headlights

i think im going to pull off the body lift and 33s, put on a set of 31s and drive it for a while. its just kind of a pain to get in and out of all the time and when i trap in the winter i get in and out 50 or more times a day.

Lock right came in today!!!! ordering a rebuild kit and hopefully installing it soon!!! and im gonna do a little painting while im at it to the axle, springs, diff. cover, etc. beacuse it looks like trash now!!!
