Bed swap

Hey all.

So I have the bed of my truck up on CL to see if I could sell it instead of scraping in and I got a guy whos interested. See my original thought was to ditch the bed and build a bed cage like

But now the guy who is interested is wanting to ditch his step side box and I thought that might be unique and different. I haven't seen to many Gen 3 ext. cab step sides. Did they even make them in a 4x4?

Question to you all is do I build a bed cage or put the step side box on?

Edit. So I am gonna get the other box weather or not I put it on is another story but I am thinking of doing some painting. Problem is the drivers side fender has those stupid graphics and when it was re-done by whoever they left the sticker part on the stripes when they cleared and then pealed of the sticker tape so there is a little lip in 4 spots so I have to take it down to bare paint or enough to blend those spots and I think I wanna try doing this myself. So I'm either thinking re-doing the black or maybe going Gunmetal Grey or Olive Drab. Thoughts?

Bed Cage. you can probably find a buyer for the stepside bed easier than you did the fleetside if you end up with it.

I Know its totally off topic, but what for inserts do you have in your grill?

Good question, I have no idea where I got those cold weather inserts. They work nice snap in and out with some plastic clips so there is nothing permanent on the grill when removed. I'll go out in a bit and see if I can see a name
