Bed Spare Tire Carrier

Does anyone know if this would work on a 1993?

93 should have the same carrier, and should bolt up just the same. My 97 has the same carrier. I even saw a 98 in the junkyard with the same carrier, but the 2001 that I saw had a completely different setup

PS, I have for sale the middle section that the tire bolts up to if you have a different tube to fasten it to the bed.

I finally grabbed some tools and climbed under my Ranger. The center bar is similar to everyone else's (mounting configuration is slightly different), but the tube mounts higher on one side, and uses two bolts on the high side, and one on the low.

I think I am going to find some tubing of the same diameter, or close to it, have it bent, and press the ends, and then drill.

This will be a slow process, simply because my "garage" consists of a small strip of grass, a socket set, and two screwdrivers.

My tube was the same way. you just have to bend the higher side more. I bent mine at the top of the second bolt hole on that side. But I would suggest you do bend a new tube. I
t will look cleaner. :D

That's neat. And is a good use of resources for sure. I think with my tools and skill lever is build a stronger one; I don't mean that any negative way towards you.

Thanks man! I'm shure u can make a stronger one, I'm only 16 so I don't have much to work with so I made that out of what I had. Thanks for your support. (No offense taken. :D)

Yeah. I like it. It's resourceful.
I'm lucky enough that at 16 I had access to a full shop. My dad has always worked in semi body repair and at 14 I was helping up there.

I'm just so used to having access to all this stuff and sometime I forget some people don't! I guess you call that spoiled right? Lol

4.0 of course you're spoiled i mean look at your b2... i think you need to donate it to the 509lifted new truck charity haha jk

:icon_rofl::icon_rofl::icon_rofl: now that might be the funniest thing I've heard on TRS in awhile...
repped.

I actually kind of do have all that stuff. I work at an auto body shop with everything I can ever want. I guess I'm just kind of lazy. :P
And yeah your pretty spoiled. :D

Maybe someone can explain to me why the carriers always cock the tire up instead of laying it flat?
