Bed extender for step side.

Does anyone have a bed extender in their step side ? The only brand I've found is this one. https://www.ebay.com/itm/AMP-Resear...ash=item1c2f976e67:g:IXcAAOxyuPtRAvLU&vxp=mtr

It's seems like it would rattle over bumps when folded it.
I like the way Ford did their's, so the bed extender locks in place when folded in or out.

Wow. That seems like a bunch of money.

I almost bought one off Craigslist a while back. It was for a regular width Ranger. My plan was to narrow it as needed for my Splash bed. The guy had 2 for $80.00. I should have pursued that more aggressively.

Does anyone know if a Sport Trac bed extender will fit splash/edge stepside beds?

The 01/06 Sport Trac bed is 54 11/16" wide, the 07/08 is 50" wide. So they could be cut down to fit a step side Ranger.

I was wonderingbmore about whether the mounting points would be the same and at the proper height. I might have to get one and do some measuring.
