Ranger would not start. Replace battery with new one. Also found that the alternator was shot (tested by local shop) so I installed new one. At the same time I installed new serpentine belt since old one was cracked and worn. After all of this battery light is still on. It seems that no voltage is getting back to the battery since the battery was drained after 20 minutes. Performed several checks with multimeter-battery is grounded properly-and it seems that no voltage is coming off of the post of the alternator. New alternator has been removed and bench tested with no problem. Trying to figure out what the next step is.

Did you put the belt on right????OR is the fuseable link or fuse shot ????Make sure all the wire connected too..

Belt is on correct. Fuseable link and all related fuses are OK. Wires have been double checked for proper fitment. Battery terminals and all wires have been checked for corrosion.
