Battery draining

Hello

I have a 91 ranger with a 2.9 5 speed. I recently swapped the auto transfer case with a manuel t-case. After i did that every time i park the truck I have to disconnect the battery cable or the battery drains dead. Is this problem related to the t-case swap or is there another problem?

Well im not even sure the problms are related I just know they happened about the same time. Does anyone have an idea?

you did make sure all the old electrical connections were sealed so they couldn't short out? kinda obvious i know, but sometimes s**t happens, and you miss something. otherwise, i'd double check all the battery connections. especially if you disconnected it when taking the old tc out.
just a thought.
