Is the clock display on the stock radio supposed to be on even with key off?
:icon_confused:

I don't think it is on the 2000's. My 98 wouldn't unless you pushed the clock button and then it would light up for a few seconds. I had a battery drain also that i tracked down to it being my factory radio. With the key off every so often you could hear the speakers crackle like power was applied to them. I replaced my factory radio and problem solved it was some intermittant short in the factory radio. hope this helps.

radio- alarm?

I just noticed that not only does the clock stay on all the time but the "theft" light flashes constantly with the key off. Is this normal? Is there a way to disable the theft alarm?

I pulled the fuse from the radio but the battery still drains, though maybe a bit slower.

The theft light always flashes... that's just how it works.
