I need help replacing my battery cables on my 98 ranger 4x4 auto 3.0 after a motor swap and trans swap it wouldn't start so i replaced the clamps with brass ones this didn't help I still just got a click click click, so i got a new starter same thang so i seen on here were you should splice the jumper wire thing with the one that comes with the starter when i did this it would slowly spin the starter (out of the truck) and the ground wire would get hot, so I figured it was a ground sense i got the motor from a j/y and it had the ground straps cut maybe a didn't get one on and this is the problem but i'm not sure were all the ground straps/cables are located any help would be appreciated thanks
