Re Colorado: I develop some serious road rage within 100 miles of Denver and it makes me want to avoid that state. Nice scenery though.

Heh, yeah, but still. I grew up in a town with one stop light and it was 30 miles away from the nearest (large) town which has three stop lights. Funny thing is that town has half 2/3 the population that mine did.

When we were kids my brother used to make hydrogen balloons. Hydrogen is lighter than air so they had the same characteristics as a helium balloon....until you ignite them. We made some pretty sweet looking fireballs, like a small scale Hindenburg.
