I have a 1999 Ranger 2wd that is lifted with 3 inch spindles and rear block and a 3 in body lift with 33 inch tires. I am thinking about taking the body lift out and changing the spindles to lowering spindles and have thought about bagging it. About how much would it cost to bag it? The rear leaf springs will have to be removed and a 4 link installed right? I have found a kit that replaces the factory coil spring and shocks up front, but I don't know how well it will work or if anything else will have to be done? Any info will be appreciated.

a full Bag job front and rear is right around 3,00 if you want it done right. You can get a DJM 4/5 lowering kit witch consist of new upper and lower control arms, 2" drop springs. The rear is a flip kit witch relocates the axle on to of the leaf springs. And for the record they don't make Lowering spindles for rangers. If you really want to bag it you're going to need the upper and lower arms from DJM, Bags, front cups, a 2,3, or 4 link for the rear, air tank, compressors, switches, valves etc and a lot of time to get it completed.

Not to mention notching the frame, cutting up the bed and pulling the fender liners to make it do what a bagged truck should be able to do, LAY FRAME!:icon_welder:

I was just saying the basics, if he want's it to Lay then yes starts cutting and don't look back.

I get what you're saying. I just don't see much point in bagging a truck unless you go all out and notch it so you can lay the frame down. Otherwise a static drop would make more sense unless you want it so low you would need ramps to get up the curb to the driveway. :icon_twisted:

I have friends in a car club that mostly have bagged s-dimes and I have messed with their trucks and like the style. Its more or less just making it another project and being able to adjust it... Yeah if I do it then I'm gonna notch it and make it lay frame.. I can't let a Chevy get lower than me. If I'm gonna do it I'm gonna go all out.. Does anyone have any experience with RideTech air pods? Basically its the solenoids, air tank, compressor, and gauges all in one unit.
