Well I just wanted to put the offer out there for anyone who is interested in doin dome wheeling, me and a few buddies are heading down to the Badlands ORV in Attica IN, on May 13th and we will be wheeling the 14th and 15th. We will be camping somewhere (any suggestions from those who have been there?) for the 3 nights. Anyone who want to go run some trails or show us guys around, lets get it!

Sounds like a blast. You may want to check out Haspin Acres as well. I had a blast.

there is another place down here on the far east side of ohio called wellsville. i got a lot of friends that go there. but of course my truck is broke every time they go :( but hopefully my truck will be ready by next winter :)

Yeah, maybe next time we will go to those other places. Thanks!

Camp at the Attica Family Campground. It's right outside the entrance to the park. It's cheap too.

Should I reserve a spot or is it pretty big?

You shouldn't need to reserve a spot, but it's never a bad idea. Last time I was at the campground we were one of only three groups there.

Well if no one wants to come along, any tips on going in there? Any spots we gotta hit?

There's a TREC race that weekend, I would advise you to reserve a spot just to make sure you have one.

You have to hit the quarry. Nuff said.

Oh, I forgot about the race...I will call tomorrow! Thanks!

I went to the Badlands back in the 80's and we had a blast. We took my 83 Ranger and my buddies 84 Jeep TJ (I think that was the correct name for that decade). Lots of pretty girls were there at that time of the year. We could have stayed in California that late in spring but we wanted to leave since we just got back from a year at sea and need to stretch or bodies!!!! How I wish I had bought some great camera equipment while I was in Japan that year. Prices were always cheap in Japan. I even bought an aluminum framed (very rare) Yamaha RZV 500 2 stroke race replica there one year and brought it back to Alameda NAS. I sold it for about $3,000 more then I paid for it after I kept it for about 2 years.... another story...lol
