Hey y'all I have a 99 Ranger and I have basically everything new in my front end. I've got new wheel bearings, tie rod ends, And ball joints accompanied with a brand new set on tires and a front end alignment. The power steering whines very low and mostly not noticeable but when I was driving today every time I took a slow but sharp turn it wobbled really bad in the front end. could this possibly be my power steering pump or am I looking at a bad rear axle
Note: THIS IS NOT A FOURWHEEL DRIVE TURCK. Also have not been driving any different then usual. :icon_confused:

Top off the steering fluid. They do that when they get air in the lines.

i had checked the level when i first noticed and was all good

Could be the pump then.

but would that cause the bad shaking well wobble from the front end I thought a bad pump just give out? idk I could be wrong, any other explanations?

Whining is usually fluid cavitation. In a rack and pinion steering system cavitation (air in the lines) can also cause a high frequency vibration during turns. It is often described as a "wobble". I am assuming this is your issue, since I have not felt it myself.

A bad pump could also cause this issue.
