every time i start my truck white smoke comes out and never goes away. and when i rev it water shoots out. no matter how long i drive it for it never goes away. i check the anti-freeze every time i go somewhere and its always at the same level. someone told me i might have a bad cat but there is no check engine light. so before i get a new cat i thought id ask your guys opinions. (i might just get a new cat anyway dose anyone know any good hi-flow cats.)

You need to do some more checking other than guessing that you have a bad cat. White smoke says you are burning antifreeze, possibly a cracked head, blown head gasket or leaking intake manifold. I suggest pulling your spark plugs and checking those first. See which one is burning something other than gas. Next pressurize your cooling system and see if you truly are losing antifreeze.

btw, once apon a time a great exhaust guy made a statement when I asked for a high flow cat: "how do you know that the stock ones are not high flowing?" They tell you the aftermarkets ones ARE high flow, but never does anyone say the stock ones are or are not. FWIW, its ur money.

Does it have an odour to it? Is it cold out? Could just be condensation in the exhaust.

i dont think its condensation because i can drive around for 2 hrs and it will still do it

check the cooling system. it doesnt take much antifreeze in the chambers to create white smoke.

White smoke once the engine's hot can only mean one thing: burning coolant. Just because the coolant level in the overflow tank doesn't move doesn't mean that the radiator isn't emtying itself.

if its a auto trans check the hose on the vacuum modulator of the trans to see if it is full of trans fluid if it is you are sucking trans fluid in to the engine the module later is bad
