Purchased a set of Rugged Ridge hubs for son's 2000 Ranger from Amazon's xxxPORCxxx seller. I could not get the four wheel drive to work. Had power all the way to the CV axles but the front wheels would not turn. I finally gave up and took it to the stealership and prepared myself to bone up $91.00 an hour to see whats wrong. Apparently when the hub is pushed up onto the truck and tapped down to seat it, the inside of the hub is rotating to the unlock position (?). I called Bailey (very helpful) at xxxPORCxxx and she told me to call Tina (again very helpful) at OMIX where they got the hubs from. I talked to the tech Eddie (great Georiga drawl) at OMIX and he said they got a bad batch of these hubs a couple of months ago. The are hopefully sending me new ones tomorrow and we will see if they work. Just an FYI if anyone is having problems with a recently purchased set.
