I have a 94 ford ranger I'm doing a 3inch body lift and 2 inch leveling on the front and putting 33s on the front with a 15x8 wheel and I'm trying to find out the best backspacing for it I was told to go with a 4.5 but that's the stock backspacing on the rangers right so y would I do that when I'm going with a lot bigger wheel can somebody help me ty

Do u know about how far that will put it out of the fender because I'm taking it mudding so I don't wont it to stick out to far where it will pop up and hit my fender

they stuck out slightly. Maybe half an inch past the fender. Otherwise, they'll rub horribly.

Brinker, I disagree.

You will be fine with that backspacing.

I ran that exact same setup, with knobby 33x12.50x15 on 15x8's with 4.5" BS. It would barely rub @ full lock, but it's not a problem. Other treads don't interfere at all. It rubs your radius arms, but it's not critical. The paint came off, but that was it. No other issues came with the rubbing.

Anyways, if you are offroading, it will be sufficient. On the street doing u-turns, you learn to not crank your wheel like a noob and you won't have any problems.

My stockers with 33" TSL's ( which is a TRUE 33" tire ) rubbed like mad.

i think im going to just try the 4.5 backspacing if i dont like it i will get spacers the 1 think i want to know is how far will the 4.5 stick out of the fender i want it to stick out some but i dont want it to hit my fender if i hit a bump to hard will that happen with 4.5 backspacing r will i be fine and how much will it stick out and 1 more thing with the ford rangers dos the front stick out more then the back r is it the same if so do i need to get a smaller backspacing for the back or what because my freinds ranger hes stick out more on the front then the back and i dont want that thanks

If you are THAT concerned with all of these issues, go with a 32.50" tire instead.
