You're Navy being in Norfolk im guessing? I was Navy too, never went to Norfolk though.

ah another michigan sploder. yeah i have been hunting for this exact truck in this condition for about a year. i wont be ready for hubs for another few weeks but thanks for the heads up. im gonna spend the next couple weeks on the engine bay(gotta tiddy up and remove un-needed things) the interior, and the exhaust. damn thing is too quiet.

i was an EN up till 2 months ago and they did a big rating shift because of cuts i was force converted to a machinist mate MM..... still not too happy about it but atleast they didnt kick me out like a lot of guys.

Yeah I know what you mean. I got out right before I would have to take my first PTS review. I just got out because my enlistment was over, but what I meant was when I was getting out is when they started putting PTS into place lol. I got out just in time to not have to take one. I miss it quite often but I definitely dont miss the political BS like you're talking about where you dont have a say in anything haha

well picked up some new valve covers from the junkyard today and got the motor all buttoned up and alive again. got a pretty good hesitation when you mash the pedal. ive already done plugs and wires and cleaned the maf so im going to throw a a new tps and iac on it. time is due anyway. heres a pic of the bay mid way.
