Back brakes are locking upwhat to do????

hey i have a 99 and a 200 ranger the brakes on the 99 lock up what i barley preess on them any thing i can do they r backed off all the way any hel would be great
 
Have you pulled the drun off. My guess is you have a leaky wc and bf is getting on the shoes and making them stick
 
Does it hapen after the truck is sitting for a while in damp conditions? If it does it is a characteristic of drum brakes. The element will sometimes absorb mosture in the air and swell causing them to grab until they heat up. My 98 does it too until i give it a few good applications. I think the fix is to upgrade to synthetic shoes but I'm not 100% certain.
