I joined many years ago, but never really got into it.
With my Ranger creeping up in age slowly, I've once again found this site to be a wonderful resource for the continuation of its life.
A Little background, I am a Navy veteran living in Maryland, after deciding I'd rather work for the Govt but wear normal clothes.
My truck "Little Red" is unlike any other Ranger I've ever run into. It is the Standard cab 7' bed with 4x4 (the lovely D28/35 hybrid axle). I owe the truck my life. In 2009, I was cut off by a car at dead stop while I was doing 45. I ended up totaling both the Accord that cut me off (everything from rear tires back gone) and the Tacoma I skidded into afterward (hit between bed and cab, wrapped around the front). Amazingly, after no airbag deployment, I walked away with minor injuries, and the truck was driven home with a leaky radiator, and all the front body panels mushed. 3 months later, it was as good as new.
Look forward to contributing, and gaining knowledge to keep my truck on the road!
