I haven’t been on here in a long long long time and boy i forgot what a great sight this was but for the hell of I’d like to go over my car purchases and my stories.
My 1993 ford ranger 4.0 which my dad bought new btw gave up the ghost this year during the snap cold front, she finally broke down 3 days in a row. Major issues, not engine related but the whole truck was rotted out after 26 winters in Chicago. The poor truck after 225k just fell apart
Meanwhile in 2013 i bought a 14 mustang premium, track pack, Recaro seats. I raced and modded the hell out of that car. When i sold it this last spring “ i bought a house and had other things to do” it weighted 3380 pounds and was making 440whp on a bad day. Sad thing about that car was when i had stage 3 comp cams in it due to a bad installer error and comp not handling the returned cams correctly the heads ended up having to be replaced, not on my tab but the experience ruined the car for me, i sold it this last spring and haven’t looked back.
When the ranger was down i bought a 2019 fiesta st as it’s replacement, and went it needs more, now it’s a full build with a hybrid turbo making 300whp. And that’s as far as I’m taking this car.
but after everything i miss the old ranger and my brother 2.3 97 ranger more than anything else lol that 2.3 was hilarious ?
