b4000 thumping

i have a mazda b 4000 that has a thumping sound after letting offf the throttle and the trucck starts to slow down changed carrier berring cchecked the drums all good and u joints dont have no play in them do these have lock posi rear ends
i jacked it up and put it in gear gave it gas the drivers tire spun great the passenger tire would spin like twice give it gas it spin about the same then it would stop any ideas

does it sound like its under cab or bed? I have a thump under cab that is driving me nuts-is it possible the t- case is binding and hitting the floor of our trucks?

Same thump under the back on the extended cab, in that area at least, and i feel it when taking off from a stop, like a little slack somewhere that bumps when i give it a bit of gas. I hope its just the case hitting something outside and not inside hahaha

when you changed the carrier bearing did you clean and relube(special lube) the slip yoke?
