So my dad just got a 2003 2wd b3000. the thing runs great but at 80 mph it bucks pretty hard, as soon as you let off it stops. it does it every time, I was thinking it was the computer shuting it down but 80 seems way to slow for that.
Any ideas?

so my dad can't find the egr or a vacume hose that would attach to it, he wondered if it would be electronic, he's out of state so I can't really help him find it, he should be reading this thread tomorrow to see if anyone answers, so if you could please point him in the right direction to look for the egr and hose. thanks again, he's about 500 miles from home and it's getting worse so any help would be appreciated.

Camshaft position sensor

I know I'm quite late, but for anyone who has this problem try replacing the camshaft position sensor. It's $5 and a two bolt job. I've had to replace mine twice, and it always fixes the problem immediately.
