thats whats under my 93 B2600i {pre-ranger}
it seems to be the queerest axle ive ever seen, no bolts on diff cover, maybe its pressure fit or something?
could someone please help me? thanks

It's a front loading axle, like a ford 9". The bolts that hold the third member (the carrier assembly) are on the front of the housing.

It doesn't have a diff cover, it has a removable center section... I have no clue what it is, but it reminds me of a rear axle put under the Nissan hardbody trucks of the early 90's...

thanks guys and most likely it is something like the nissans

possible for a yota axle to be under my mazda

thanks man, i just added to your rep :bros:

i cant find a pic of one on the interweb, does anyone else have a pic of a toyota 4cyl 8" {yea theyre different for 4cyl/6cyl}?

no my diff looks more rounded, but that pic says 4cyl/v6 but they arent the same

thanks for the info..ill have a closer look at my axle tomorrow
