hey guys i have a 01 b2500 and a 95 crown vic does anyone know if the 4.6 driveline can be swapped into the b2500?

nobody around actually sells a kit for it, its a very wide motor so there is some cutting and fabrication needed to be done to the inner fenders and firewall, im actually going to be starting mine in a few weeks, but it may be a little different where i have a DOHC, i think the heads on those are a little wider, ill check it out and get back to you

The '98-up 2wd Rangers will accept a 4.6 rather nicely. You'll have to make motor mount brackets, modify the HVAC box, and move the steering shaft a little (easy). With the sohc motor you should be able to find exhaust manifolds that will work. The wiring will take the most time.

This is the 4.6 dohc in my '98 Ranger (was a 2.5):

Check out the sites in my sig to see what's all involved.

Greg

P.S. Nothing needs to be done to the frame, firewall, or fenders.
